Contributors to Doody's Core Titles (DCT)

One of the hallmarks of Doody's Core Titles is the number of individuals who have contributed to its development - health science librarians, content specialists, the medical book distributors, and the staff of Doody Enterprises, Inc. Because of the cumulative efforts of over 200 individuals, we are able to produce a reliable, annual list of core titles in just over two months.

Library Board of Advisors

From its inception in 1993, Doody Enterprises has depended upon the advice, insight and counsel of its Library Board of Advisors as it has created products and services to meet the information needs of medical libraries.

It was the Library Board of Advisors which unanimously advised Doody's management to develop a core title list in the wake of the discontinuation of Brandon/Hill Selected Lists. More than any other source, the Library Board of Advisors was responsible for developing the concept and ultimate look and feel of DCT. And the members continue to be instrumental in serving as and recruiting Librarian Selectors.
