Introduction & Background

In our roles as instruction librarians at the Health Sciences Library System (HSLS) at the University of Pittsburgh, we have seen an increasing need for educating both students and the general public in identifying and confronting health misinformation and have taken steps to meet that need (Cowles et al., 2024).
