Features It goes into an impressive amount of detail in many topics relevant to spinal cord injury. From anatomy and pathophysiology to acute care, altered organ function, and long-term management, to research considerations (with many topics in between), this book proves its worth as a learning tool and a reference. The excellent figures and the attention to emerging technologies and clinical trials -- both completed and ongoing -- are also valuable assets. Assessment This book will be useful to anyone who is involved in the care of individuals with spinal cord injuries. For those who are learning or studying for spinal cord subspecialty boards, the topics are comprehensive.
