|
The purpose of the book is to introduce the challenges that LGBTQ+ children, adolescents, and young adults face in their lives. These are worthy objectives and this group of articles is needed. The book meets these objectives and is worthwhile. |

The audience is pediatric providers at all levels of training. The book meets the needs of the intended audience. The editors and authors are credible and recognized experts. One contributor gave grand rounds at the University of Chicago and has been a guest editor for Pediatric Annals. |

This book introduces methods of combating stigma and bias in the LGBTQ+ community. Each article summarizes the literature and what we can do as providers to learn more about the challenges in LGBTQ+ patients' lives. The tables are comprehensive and worthwhile. |
