The book is intended for those in training in oral medicine and as a supplemental reference for clinicians and clinical application. These are worthy objectives.

It is targeted to the training dentist for use in a course in oral medicine/oral pathology. The author is a credible authority.

This book successfully structures oral medicine into five categories. Each category is further subdivided and thoroughly covered. The CD-ROM has good illustrations and detailed text. I particularly like the chapters on facial pain and neurology.

This is an excellent book for the undergraduate dentist and it links medical problems to oral health well. It has more information than other oral medicine books and is a good reference for those preparing for examinations.
