Audience This is a stepping stone for any student beginning their educational journey in medicine. It is directed at students in the allied health and nursing fields, but with its well-done illustrations, it also may serve as a reference for medical professionals who treat patients with these disease processes, such as residents and nurses. Features The book begins with the structural functions and changes that occur in a disease process, followed by specific organ groups and their common diseases. Concepts and treatment methods are presented in each chapter, which are beautifully illustrated with color photos of real-life examples of the disease.
