The authors aim to incorporate the cutting-edge, latest discoveries in immunobiology in this update. These new additions are timely.
Audience
This book is suitable for immunology courses targeting medical students as well as graduate students enrolled in master's or doctoral degree courses.
Features
The book covers the essential topics in immunology, starting in part 1 with the innate arm of the immune system and ending with the evolution of the immune system, with all the fundamentals of immunology. Translational aspects of immunology in part 2 include vaccine and various diseases related to the immune system and immune responses. The artwork is of high quality and very helpful for students to understand the concepts and principles.
Assessment
This edition of the book has many updates related to the newest discoveries in immunology. The chatty style makes the book readable and understandable. Illustrations are of high quality, and are very helpful for students.
