Audience Written for nurses, the book is comprehensive enough to provide program development and curriculum for advanced disaster-specialty nursing practice. Features The book covers coordination, leadership, and policy development for disaster nursing. The best part is the "Blueprint for the Future of Disaster Nursing," but another unique feature is the chapter on "American Red Cross Disaster Health Services and Disaster Nursing: National Capability-Local Community Impact," which puts community volunteerism in perspective with coordinated emergency responses to disasters.
