The goal of this resource is to provide busy healthcare practitioners with a brief and up-to-date comprehensive summary of a wide variety of illnesses. The authors do an excellent job of achieving their objectives. Audience This book is intended to assist a wide variety of clinicians in multiple settings. Novice and experienced practitioners will find this book to be a worthwhile addition to their resource library. Features Each chapter is presented in a clear structured format. Comprehensive and concise information is provided on each topic, including special considerations. Many tables and illustrations enhance the written text. Additionally, an alphabetically organized listing of life-threatening disorders is provided on the inside of the front and back covers.
