This edition has been extensively updated in its context, pictures, and references. Purpose The purpose is to address neuroanatomy in an easy and accessible manner. These worthy objectives are fully met by the authors. Audience Neurologists, neurosurgeons, and neuroanatomists are the main targets of this book. The authors are credible authorities in the field. Features This book's concept is interesting in the presentation of neuroanatomy. Besides the clear language, the pictures are representative, the references up-to-date, and the addition of important features in each chapter help the reader, typically a student, to better grasp the concepts. I don't think there are any shortcomings. It's definitely simplified yet comprehensive. Blood supply is always mentioned, since many neurological conditions present differently and puzzle clinicians. It is very affordable, which puts this book at an advantage over others for medical students and residents. Assessment This is a great book with newly added necessary features and an attractive price. It is a good book to include in neuroscience libraries and general medical libraries.
